Julia’s long time Kathy Kaehler dished about Julia’s workout routines. She said, “We change her workouts depending on the role. I try to keep it very creative so she doesn’t get bored.” Roberts loves to workout in her pool so many of her exercises are created for the pool. She starts with a few laps of swimming to warm up her muscles. She then puts on a flotation belt and runs for one-minute intervals, staring with a slow pace and then working up to moderate and then fast speeds. She repeats the entire exercise five times. She also does cross-country skiing and arm exercises in the deep end. Kahler explains the benefits of water exercises, “She needs to look good on-screen, but she also needs the strength and energy to run around after her kids off screen. Swimming and water exercises are great ways to build up endurance and stay fit.” Think pool exercises are for the weak? Well, Kahler said hat a 150-pound person can expect to burn about 200 calories in 30 minutes by just doing moderate swimming; ramp it up to a vigorous swim and you can burn up to 330 calories in 30 minutes!

In addition to regular workouts, Julia Roberts uses diet designs eating program. This program allows you to eat fresh and healthy meals each week by opting to either have meals delivered to your door or by making your food using Diet Design’s famous recipes. Each plan is customized but includes a balance of 50% – 60% carbohydrates, 20% – 25% protein and 20% – 25% fat. While most of us can’t afford this option, we can follow the plan by making the foods ourselves and following the basic principals of eating healthy, fresh food and ensuring an appropriate balance of carbs, protein and fat.

Faith is in her 40’s, a mother of young children, wife to country music hottie, Tim McGraw and has a fantastic career that keeps her on the go. So, how does she fit a healthy diet and exercise into her hectic life? Read on and find out!

Faith’s diet plan is to keep her food as healthy and organic as possible. She grows much of her own food in her garden where she grows fresh, organic veggies. She also prepares a lot of Mediterranean meals, including Greek salads and Greek yogurt with blueberries. She also chooses lean proteins when cooking. She keeps carbs to a minimum as well.

As for her exercise plan, Faith works out regularly which typically include pilates (she has a pilates machine on her tour bus), does four miles on the elliptical, does light weight lifting, crunches and push ups. She focuses on her core which makes her stronger – including very toned arms and mid section. She also said the exercise allows for better sleep and increased energy.

After her pregnancy, Faith followed David Kirsch’s low carb eating plan. This plan prohibits alcohol, dairy, fat, bread, sugar, fruit, or caffeine for the first two weeks. She also did an hour of Pilates and an hour of cardio every day! Wow!

Nicole Scherzinger is the lead singer of the sexy group, Pussy Cat Dolls, and the latest mirror ball trophy winner of Dancing With the Stars. She is known for her amazing voice, sexy dance moves as well as her fantastic body. So, here is how she keeps her body fit and sexy.

Nicole’s diet plan is quite simple: Eat and eat healthy. She doesn’t follow any diet’s per se. Rather, she tries to eat three solid meals per day. If her schedule does not allow her time to sit and eat three meals, she will go to eating six small meals throughout the day. She did reveal that her typical breakfast includes egg whites, tomatoes and wheat toast. Another breakfast favorite is smoked salmon, poached eggs and wheat toast. Nicole also said she drinks PG Tips tea everyday. I checked out the website and the company states the following about their tea:

* An average cup of PG tips is virtually fat free. Drunk black, one cup is calorie free and even with semi-skimmed milk typically contains just 14 calories.

As for Nicole’s exercise plan, she believes in cardio, cardio, cardio. Of course, dancing is a big part of her exercise plan and says you can that the amount of dancing she does on stage alone helps keep her weight down. Nicole said that the “Majority of my fitness exercise program consist of being part of The Pussycat Dolls. I get a lot of fitness training performing the high energy dance routines.” So, how can you mimic her exercise plan? Simple…check out some dancing DVD’s like the “Danncing with the Stars” workout DVD’s or even join a Zumba class at a local gym! Nicole also likes to run, which she has been seen doing even while on vacation in Hawaii! That shows that Nicole values the benefits of exercise and fitness and doesn’t take vacations from her workouts!

After the birth of her son, she decided to get fit, which included diet and lifestyle changes along with an exercise program. As for her diet, she joined Weight Watchers. As for her exersise program, Hudson does 45 minutes to one hour of cardio every night alongside her personal trainer. She keeps it fresh by mixing it up by either walking, jogging or running; She also likes to play basketball. In addition to her cardio program she also does resistance training exercises by using her own body weight to build and tone her muscles. She does an hour worth of resistance training which includes 25 reps of the following exercises: push ups, leg squats, and sit ups.
